Ingredients

For Brownie Layer

  • 1 box Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Water

For Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Egg room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

For Brownie Layer

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Line an 8x8" square pan with parchment paper

  3. Spray nonstick spray on the bottom and sides of the pan

  4. To make the brownie layer, follow the instructions on the Brownie Mix box

  5. Pour batter into the pan reserving 1/2 cup for the top. Spread the brownie batter evenly on the pan

For Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer

  1. In the bowl of a mixer, whip the cream cheese for 3-4 minutes until creamy

  2. Add the peanut butter, vanilla, and sugar. Continue whipping until combined

  3. Finally, add the eggs and mix

  4. Pour this cheesecake batter on top of the brownie batter

  5. Place mounds of the reserved brownie batter separately over the cheesecake batter

  6. With a toothpick or the back of a knife, make swirls on top

  7. Bake for 28-35 minutes (mine took 30 minutes) or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean

  8. Remove from heat and let it cool on a rack

  9. When cooled place in the fridge to set. About 3 hours to overnight

  10. Remove from mold and cut into squares

  11. Enjoy!
