Ingredients

For Brownie Layer

  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate chopped
  • 12 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup Cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Candied Orange Peel chopped

For Fudge Layer

  • 1 can LA LECHERA® Condensed Milk
  • 3 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • Juice of one orange

For Chocolate Icing

  • 1 can LA LECHERA® Condensed Milk
  • 6 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate chopped
  • Pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Line an 11x17" rectangular pan with parchment paper

  3. Spray nonstick spray on the bottom and at the sides of the pan

For Brownie Layer

  1. In a pan over medium - low heat, add the butter and chocolate chips. Stir gently until the mixture melts completely. Be careful not to burn the chocolate

  2. Remove chocolate from pan and pour it in a bowl to cool for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and mix

  3. Add the eggs one by one and whisk vigorously

  4. Add the vanilla, pinch of salt and baking powder. Whisk

  5. Slowly add the flour and mix until completely combined. Add the walnuts, cranberries, and candied peel

  6. Pour batter in the pan

For Fudge Layer

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, place the white chocolate chips, orange juice, butter, and condensed milk

  2. Stir constantly over low heat until the mixture melts completely

  3. Pour this mixture over the brownie batter

  4. Use a knife to swirl brownie batter and fudge together

  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is no longer runny

  6. Remove from oven, cool, and refrigerate while you make the icing

For Chocolate Icing

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, place the chocolate chunks and condensed milk. Cook for 5-6 minutes until mixture has thickened 

  2. Place icing over brownie and spread all over the surface

  3. Decorate with candied peel and sprinkles 

  4. Cut into squares and enjoy!
