Cream Cheese with Hot Red Pepper Jelly

This Cream Cheese with Hot Red Pepper Jelly is easy to make and delicious. The perfect sweet and spicy appetizer to serve at any party of celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 Red Jalapeno minced or any other hot pepper
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Rice Wine Vinegar or Regular Cinegar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese block version
  • Fresh green jalapeno sliced

Instructions

  1. Place cream cheese on a heat proof plate
  2. In a saucepan place the jalapeno, sugar, vinegar, and water

  3. Cook on medium heat until the mixture reduces and becomes thick. Stir regularly to avoid the peppers from sticking to the bottom. About 20-30 minutes
  4. Pour boiling mixture on top of the cream cheese
  5. Garnish with green jalapeno slices
  6. Serve immediately
