Banana Nut Muffins Recipe - They makes delicious, moist and sweet muffins. The secret is the use of sour cream in the batter. It gives them tons of flavor.

Banana Nut Muffins

  • 2 cups of flour sifted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of baking powder
  • 12 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 Ripe Bananas mashed
  • 1/2 Cup of Walnuts chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons butter- melted


  1. Preheat Oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. In one bowl, place the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix
  3. In another bowl mix in the mashed bananas, sour cream, eggs, vanilla and melted butter
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet. DO NOT OVERMIX
  5. Pour batter onto muffin tins lined with paper
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until brown on the outside
  7. Remove from oven and enjoy!
