Ingredients
1Sourdough Round or Oval Bread
2Bacon strips (I used turkey bacon)
8ozBrie Cheesethinly sliced and rimmed
3TablespoonsButter
2ClovesGarliccrushed
Green Onionssliced
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
Place bread on a baking pan lined with parchment paper
Cut slits into bread in a nice pattern. Careful not to cut all the way to the bottom
In a sauté pan, cook the bacon strips until browned and crispy. Remove bacon and place on a plate lined with paper towels and let it cool
Cut the bacon into small pieces
Meanwhile, saute the crushed garlic on the remaining bacon fat. Add the butter until melted
Spread the butter inside each crevice of the bread and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes
Remove the bread from the oven and add the bacon pieces and the cheese into the crevices making sure you fill each one
Place bread back in the oven and bake until all the cheese is melted. About 6-8 minutes
