Ingredients
For Beef
1lbLean ground beef or ground turkey
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1-2clovesgarlicminced
2 - 15ozcans of crushed tomatoes
1/2teaspoonsugar or Stevia
1cupwater
1onionchopped
Salt + Pepper
2teaspoonsOlive Oil
For Cheese
1cupMozzarella Cheese
15ozRicotta Cheese
1/2teaspoonItalian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper
Assembly
Lasagna Noodlesuncooked
3cupsMozzarella Cheese

Instructions
For Beef
Heat skillet with olive oil on medium heat
Add onions and Italian Seasoning. Saute until softened
Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute
Add beef and cook while breaking it down into small pieces
Drain excess liquid
Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture starts to boil
Add water and cook until the sauce is thick but still a bit runny. Check for seasoning
For Cheese
Mix everything into a bowl. Check for seasoning
Assembly
Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray
Add 1/4 of the meat mixture
Cover with lasagna noodles (you might need to break them up a bit so that they fit)
Add 1/3 of ricotta mixture, top with 1/4 beef and 1/3 cheese
Cover with lasagna noodles
