Sweet And Salty Granola Bars

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cups dry fruits chopped (cranberries, prunes, dates, etc)
  • 1/4 Cup nuts chopped (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc)
  • 1/4 Cups pretzels crushed

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup + 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 1/2 Cup + 1 Tablespoon of Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix all the dried ingredients together until thoroughly combined
  • In a small saucepan, pour the honey, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir over medium-low heat until the mixture heats up and becomes liquid
  • Pour the peanut butter mixture on top of the oat mixture and stir well to combine. Make sure entire granola is coated with the liquid
  • Place granola on an 8x8" square pan lined with parchment paper. Press well with a spoon to make sure mixture is compact and even
  • Refrigerate for one hour
  • Cut into bars
  • Keep in an airtight container separated with sheets of parchment paper
