For Meatballs: 1 Lb Ground Turkey Breast 1 Egg lightly beaten 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce 1 Teaspoon Tomato Paste 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning 3/4 Cup Breadcrumbs 1 Clove Garlic minced 1/2 Medium onion chopped finely Salt and Pepper For Tomato Sauce 1 Medium Onion minced 2 Cloves Garlic minced 1 Teaspoon Tomato Paste 1 Teaspoon dried Oregano 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar 28 oz Can of Tomato Puree Salt and Pepper to taste
For Meatballs
Preheat oven to 400° F
Add nonstick spray to a large sheet pan
In a large bowl place all the meatball ingredients together and mix until combined
Shape meatballs with your hand (about the size of golf balls) and place them on the sheet pan
Bake for 20 minutes or until browned and fully cooked
Remove from oven and place them inside the tomato sauce
For Tomato Sauce
In a large skillet, add the oil on medium heat
Cook the onions until softened, 3-4 minutes
Add the garlic, sugar and oregano. Cook for 1-2 minutes
Add the tomato paste and tomato puree. Cook until the sauce starts boiling
Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer
Add the cooked meatballs and coat them with the sauce
