Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tbsp . butter
  • 2 oz cans 14 . tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 2 tbsp . cumin
  • 3 tbsp . chili powder
  • 1 tbsp . oregano
  • 1 tbsp . onion powder
  • 1 tsp . salt
  • 1 tsp . garlic powder
  • 1 tsp . cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup of cooked bacon
  • 8 cloves of garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp . sliced chives optional
  • 2 tbsp shredded cheese optional

Instructions

  1. First, saute the onions in butter. As you begin to saute the onions, cook your bacon in another pan.
  2. Add ground beef, garlic, and continue to brown the beef.
  3. Put all the seasonings, meat, garlic, onions, and bacon in the crockpot and then cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 6 hours.
  4. Serve with chives or cheese on top (or any of you're preffered toppings)
