2 lbs ground beef 2 tbsp butter 28 oz tomato sauce 2 cans 1 can tomato paste 1/2 white onion 2 tbsp cumin 3 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 cup cooked bacon 8 cloves garlic minced 3 tbsp sliced chives optional 2 tbsp shredded cheese optional
First, saute the onions in butter. As you begin to saute the onions, cook your bacon in another pan.
Add ground beef, garlic, and continue to brown the beef.
Put all the seasonings, meat, garlic, onions, and bacon in the crockpot and then cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 6 hours.
Serve with chives or cheese on top (or any of you're preffered toppings)
