Ingredients

  • 3-4 Medium Apples
  • 12 Caramel Candies
  • 1/2 stick of butter melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • cloves Pinch of optional
  • Topping
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Caramel sauce optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Cut the top of the apples and using a small spoon or a mellon baller, hollow out the inside being careful not to cut all the way into the bottom
  3. Remove the wrappers from the caramel and place 3 inside each apple
  4. Place apples <g class="gr_ gr_90 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="90" data-gr-id="90">on</g> a rimmed baking dish
  5. In a bowl mix the flour, oats, cinnamon, sugar, salt and cloves. Add the melted butter and mix until combined
  6. Place the crumb topping on top of each apple
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crumb topping is golden brown
  8. Remove from oven and top with caramel sauce and whipped cream if desired
  9. Enjoy!
