Heat oven to 400°F.

Place paper baking cups into 12-cup muffin pan cups or grease cups. Set aside.

Combine all ingredients except butter, pumpkin, buttermilk, and eggs in a bowl.

Combine all remaining ingredients in another bowl.

Stir into flour blend mixture just until moistened.

Spoon batter into the prepared muffin pan.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes; remove from pan.
