Apple Chips Recipe (Oven Baked, No Dehydrator)
This easy apple chips recipe is made in the oven for perfectly crispy, crunchy apple chips without a dehydrator. A healthy, naturally sweet snack for kids and adults.

4 Apples any variety 1-2 ts Sugar or sweetener optional 1-2 Ts Cinnamon optional
Preheat oven to 200°F.
Slice apples very thin (about 1/16 inch) using a mandoline.
Remove seeds and arrange slices in a single layer on parchment-lined baking sheets.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and/or sweetener if desired.
Bake for 90 minutes.
Flip slices and bake for another 60 minutes.
Turn oven off and leave apples inside for several hours or overnight to fully dry and crisp.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before storing.
Do not open the oven while drying or the chips may turn chewy.
Thinner slices will result in crispier chips.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
If chips soften, return them to the oven for a few minutes to crisp again.
