Beef And Broccoli Noodles
Tender beef, crisp broccoli, and noodles tossed in a savory homemade stir fry sauce. A quick 20-minute dinner that tastes better than takeout.

For Stir-Fry
- 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
- 1 head broccoli cut into florets
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 oz egg noodles
For Sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3/4 cup low-sodium beef stock or chicken stock
Garnish
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds optional
- Green onions optional
Make Sauce
In small bowl whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, brown sugar, and stock until smooth. Set aside.
Cook Broccoli + Noodles
Bring large pot salted water to boil.
Add broccoli and cook 30 seconds. Remove and rinse under cold water.
In same pot cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
Stir Fry Beef
Heat sesame oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add beef and cook 3 to 4 minutes until browned.
Add garlic and ginger. Cook 1 minute.
Finish
Pour in sauce and cook 2 minutes until thickened.
Add noodles and broccoli. Toss until coated and heated through.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
- Freeze beef for 20 minutes before slicing for thinner strips.
- Swap broccoli for snap peas, peppers, carrots, or mushrooms.
- Use ramen, lo mein, spaghetti, or rice noodles if needed.
- Add sriracha or chili flakes for heat.
