For Berry Layer 4 cups Berries frozen 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice 2 teaspoons Lemon Zest 2 tablespoons Cornstarch 1/4 cup Sugar For Crisp Layer 1/2 cup Butter melted and cooled 1 Egg 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats 2 cups All Purpose Flour 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Pinch of salt 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 375 F
In a bowl, mix the berries with the cornstarch, sugar, lemon juice and zest. Set aside
In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, sugars, baking powder and salt. Add the egg beaters and the melted Smart Balance Spread.
Using individual ramekins or a baking dish. Crumble half of the dough in the bottom. Add the berries and top with the rest of the crumble
Bake for 25-30 minutes for individual ramekins or for 45 minutes for the large baking dish
Serve warm from the oven
