Easy Jelly Donuts (Biscuit Donut Hack)

These easy jelly donuts are made with biscuit dough and fried until golden. A quick no-yeast donut recipe that is soft, fluffy, and perfect for holidays or parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuits 8 ct.
  • 1 Cup Jelly any flavor
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan on medium heat
  • Cut the biscuits into 4 pieces
  • Roll the pieces with your hands in the shape of a ball
  • Fry the donuts in batches until browned on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side
  • Drain the excess oil on a plate lined with paper towels
  • Fill the injector with jelly. Use a spoon if no injector is available
  • Using the tip of a knife, make a small hole on the donut. Insert the jelly filled injector or a spoon and fill them up
  • Dust with powdered sugar (optional)
  • Enjoy

• Maintain oil temperature to avoid greasy donuts
• Do not overcrowd the pan while frying
• Roll dough evenly for consistent cooking
• Fill donuts while slightly warm for best results
• Best served fresh, but can be reheated briefly
