Ingredients

For Orange Bundt Cake

  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter (2 sticks)
  • 4 Eggs
  • Zest of 4 Oranges
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

For Orange Syrup

  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice from 1 orange approx
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

For Orange Glaze

  • 3/4 Cup Confectioner Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice

Instructions

For Orange Bundt Cake

  • Grease a bundt pan with nonstick spray
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
  • In a mixer, cream the butter and sugar together for 3-4 minutes
  • Add the eggs and zest. Mix until combined
  • Finally add the flour and baking powder in 2-3 installments
  • Place the thick batter inside the bundt pan. Make sure the batter is distributed evenly
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean
  • Remove from oven

For the Orange Syrup

  • In a small saucepan, add the orange juice and sugar and mix over medium until the sugar dissolves
  • Poke holes on the bottom of the hot bundt cake
  • Pour the entire syrup all over the bottom of the cake
  • Let it cool on completely

For the Orange Glaze

  • In a bowl place the powdered sugar
  • Pour in the orange juice
  • Mix until combined and there are no lumps

Assembly

  • When cake cools, unmold onto a cake plate
  • Pour orange glaze on top
  • Enjoy!
