Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons Nutella
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Lane a sheet pan with parchment paper
  • Using an ice cream scoop, place 1 tablespoon mounds on the parchment paper
  • Freeze for 2-3 hours or until completely frozen
  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Line 2 - 3 cookie sheets with parchment paper
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt
  • In a mixer bowl, add the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix on medium-high speed until completely creamy. About 3-4 minutes
  • Lower the mixer speed and add the eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla
  • Slowly add the flour to the mixer a little bit a time. Do not overmix
  • Finally add the chips and combine
  • Remove Nutella mounds from the freezer
  • Measure 2 ice cream scoops of cookie dough in your hand, flatten it inside the palm of your hand and add a mound of Nutella in the middle of the dough. Carefully wrap the cookie dough around the Nutella completely encasing it and place it on the prepared cookie sheet
  • Repeat this step with the rest of the cookies
  • Cookies will spread so leave enough space in between them
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes or until browned on top and soft in the middle
  • Remove from oven and let the cool. Cookies will appear a bit raw when you remove from the oven but they will finish cooking as the cool
  • Enjoy!
