2 lbs salmon 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced 2 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1/4 cup honey Juice of 2 oranges 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 green onions sliced
In a bowl, whisk together ginger, garlic, sesame oil, honey, orange juice, soy sauce, and green onions.
Place salmon in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Transfer salmon to a baking dish and pour marinade on top.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is still moist in the center.
Serve immediately.
Do not overcook the salmon, or it will become dry.
For a caramelized finish, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
Fresh orange juice gives the best flavor, but bottled can work in a pinch.
This marinade also works well with shrimp or chicken.
