Place the onions, garlic, carrots and bay leaf on the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning

Chop meat in 2-3 pieces. Season with salt and pepper on every side

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Sear the meat until browned on every side

When meat has been seared, remove from heat and add it to the crockpot

Reduce heat to medium and add the wine to the skillet. With a wooden spoon, scrape down the bottom of the pan to released the crunchy meat pieces. Add the tomato Sauce and mix with the wine. When sauce begins bubbling add it on top of the beef in the crock pot

Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours

When time is up, remove the beef from crock pot and shred using 2 forks. Mix with the sauce and veggies

Sprinkle the parsley

In a pot, add the milk, water, cheese and salt. Cook on medium heat

When the liquid starts boiling, whisk in the cornmeal and continue whisking on medium- low heat for a few minutes until it becomes thick and creamy. Check for seasoning and add more cheese if desired
