-
Lane a sheet pan with parchment paper
-
Using an ice cream scoop, place 1 tablespoon mounds on the parchment paper
-
Freeze for 2-3 hours or until completely frozen
-
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
-
Line 2 - 3 cookie sheets with parchment paper
-
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt
-
In a mixer bowl, add the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix on medium-high speed until completely creamy. About 3-4 minutes
-
Lower the mixer speed and add the eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla
-
Slowly add the flour to the mixer a little bit a time. Do not overmix
-
Finally add the chips and combine
-
Remove Nutella mounds from the freezer
-
Measure 2 ice cream scoops of cookie dough in your hand, flatten it inside the palm of your hand and add a mound of Nutella in the middle of the dough. Carefully wrap the cookie dough around the Nutella completely encasing it and place it on the prepared cookie sheet
-
Repeat this step with the rest of the cookies
-
Cookies will spread so leave enough space in between them
-
Bake for 12-18 minutes or until browned on top and soft in the middle
-
Remove from oven and let the cool. Cookies will appear a bit raw when you remove from the oven but they will finish cooking as the cool
-
Enjoy!
