Ingredients

  • 4 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 Cup semi-sweet chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  3. In a pot over medium low heat, melt the butter and chocolate together. Stir frequently to avoid the chocolate from burning
  4. Remove the chocolate from heat and place the mixture on a mixer.
  5. Add the sugar and mix for 2-3 minutes on medium low heat
  6. Add the eggs one at a time and mix
  7. Add the vanilla, mix
  8. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix
  9. With a spatula, fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips
  10. Using an ice cream scoop, place mounds of cookie dough on the cookie sheet. Leave a space in between because they spread
  11. Bake for 9-10 minutes
  12. Remove from oven and let the cool on a cooling rack
  13. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

The cookie dough is runnier than usual (like brownie batter), it's ok.They set up when they bake
