You won't believe how easy these Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Tacos are to make. Serve in a warm tortilla with your favorite toppings. Make it tonight

Ingredients

For Shredded Chicken

  • 6 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 packet taco seasoning low sodium
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 4.5 oz green chilies
  • 14.5 oz roasted tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup cilantro roughly chopped

For Tacos and Toppings

  • 12 Corn or Flour Tortillas
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Tomatoes chopped
  • Lettuce shredded
  • Sour Cream
  • Guacamole
  • Cilantro chopped

Instructions

For Shredded Chicken

  • Add chicken breasts to slow cooker and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Add diced onion, undrained green chilies, and undrained roasted to tomatoes to the slow cooker and cover.
  • Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or until chicken is cooked all the way through
  • Once fully cooked, shred the chicken using forks
  • Serve with warm tortillas and preferred toppings
  • Enjoy!
