For the Tartare: 1 lb sushi-grade tuna finely diced 1 jalapeño seeded and finely diced 3 green onions thinly sliced (green parts only) 1 avocado diced 1 tablespoon sesame seeds black or white Salt and pepper to taste For the Sauce: 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil Juice of 1 lime 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar For Serving: Crackers Microgreens optional
In a bowl, combine the diced tuna, jalapeño, green onions, avocado, and sesame seeds.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and rice vinegar.
Pour the sauce over the tuna mixture and gently toss to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
Spoon the tartare onto crackers.
Garnish with microgreens if desired.
Serve immediately.
