Maple-Mustard Chicken Thighs
If you’re looking for a new chicken recipe look no further, these easy weeknight Maple-Mustard Chicken Thighs are delicious, sweet, savory and super easy to make.
I used bone-in chicken thighs for this dish. The skin crisps up in the broiler beautifully and the then I add the tangy sauce so on both sides of the chicken so you get incredible flavor in every bite.
Since I make these Maple-Mustard Chicken Thighs in the broiler, it cooks way faster! Depending on the size, they can be ready in 15 minutes or less. Serve with some greens and white rice. The perfect dinner idea that not only you will love, but your kids will clean the plates as well.
Just remember that when you cook in the broiler, a lot of smoke can come from the oven so open your windows before doing so. You can also grill them if you’d like.
My mother in law is in town and she’s a huge fan of chicken thighs. My husband and I went to Costco last week and bought a few trays of thighs for her.
So this week we took them out and I wanted to make something special that she would love and by trial and error, I came out with these delicious Maple-Mustard Chicken Thighs.
Normally she makes it “al ajillo” with lots of butter, garlic, and tomato. If she cooks them next week I will share them with you.
I just love creating recipes with items I already have in my pantry. That’s how usually they are created, other times, especially desserts, I run to my closest supermarket and buy whatever is needed.
Next week I’ll try to come up with some more easy chicken thigh recipes, I’m sure my mother in law will teach some more.
