Holiday Spiced Toffee Recipe

I love everything about the Holidays. The decoration, music, colors, and especially the food. This Holiday Spiced Toffee Recipe is the perfect homemade gift that everyone will love.

It’s crunchy, nutty and oh-so-sweet. It tastes like original English Toffee with a nice chewiness.  There are layers and layers of flavor. I start with nuts, then toffee, then white chocolate, and finally more nuts. So every bite is packed with flavor and crunch.

As a kid, I’ve always been fascinated with candy making and I used to make lollipops and toffee all the time. It’s been a while since I made it and the process just made me feel nostalgic. I can’t take all the credit for this toffee. My oldest daughter helped me by spreading the white chocolate on top.

Part of my love for cooking comes from the fact that I get to share my knowledge with my girls and they feel very happy when they get to eat their creations. It’s what people call instant gratification.

A great trick when making toffee is to use a small muffin tin so each piece is personalized and it makes for a pretty presentation. They look adorable with cupcake liners placed inside a Holiday tin.

I will be giving these out to my daughter’s teachers and a few friends.  This toffee is also a great dessert idea during parties and get-togethers.

This toffee recipe is very easy to make the only challenge that presents is the use of a candy thermometer. They are cheap and found in most cooking stores, craft stores, and even online.

If you want to make this recipe and don’t want to buy the thermometer, there’s a way of testing out the toffee mixture, you can look it over in the recipe section below.

To make this yummy  Holiday Spiced Toffee Recipe all you have to do is cook the butter and sugar.

Then pour it over the nuts, add the white chocolate, and top off with some nuts. Place in the fridge to set and enjoy! You can see each step below. I used silicone molds because they are much easier to unmold.

See? easy! Have your kids place the nuts and chocolate. Just be very careful when handling scalding caramel. It can burn and create serious injury.

Notes

*If you don't have a candy thermometer simply test the mixture every minute but pouring a little toffee mixture in a glass of water. If the toffee turns solid and hard it's done.
