Orange raspberry sparkling wine cocktail: the ultimate summer cocktail! Combine orange liquor with raspberry sorbet, fresh raspberries in a bubbly delicious drink.
Orange Raspberry Sparkling Wine Cocktail
I am so happy that Summer is here. It’s so liberating, my dining plans usually are happening outside. Since my patio faces the water,
I get a nice breeze all year long, so entertaining “Al Fresco” is a must and now this Orange Raspberry Sparkling Wine Cocktail will be the most requested drink by my guests.
When entertaining outside, I tend to use different styles, depending on my mood, my guests and the time of day. A quick BBQ is always great when we’re in a hurry.
Other times I go all out and serve a fancier table. Specially since my guests will be eating hors d’oeuvres outside. Fresh flowers and fresh fruit look gorgeous on any table. I chose oranges in this one since it’s one of the main ingredients of my cocktail.
For this particular table, I chose a hindi tablecloth with gold accents. It’s simple yet elegant.
Before guests arrive, I start prepping my Orange Raspberry Sparkling Wine Cocktail. First, I fill the bottom of my champagne flutes with orange liquor, orange zest and a couple of raspberries.
Then at the last minute I add a few scoops of raspberry sorbet and pour my delicious Gloria Ferrer Sparkling Wine.
I really love Gloria Ferrer Sparkling wines because they are a perfect match for any occasion and are arguably the most social beverage. Exuberant and fruit-forward, their wines are outstanding with today’s diverse and flavorful cuisine.
And also they have won 400 gold medals and 50 90+ scores in the last 5 years.
For this particular cocktail, I used Gloria Ferrer Blanc De Blancs. It has amazing bubbles! As soon as you open the cage on top, the cork will pop right open.
The carbonation is just gorgeous and the flavor although delicate, can stand up to the orange liquor and raspberry flavors. Absolutely perfect by itself or inside a cocktail.
Ever since I was little, my parents loved entertaining. Having people over was part of our weekly routine. Cooking for others, setting up a nice table and relaxing with family and friends gives me pure joy.
Thankfully my husband shares the same feeling and although we don’t do it every week, we try to invite people over often.
Our dinners al fresco are meant to be relaxed and laid back. Not stuffy at all! People can have their cocktail, eat some apps and laugh the whole night. This delicious Orange Raspberry Sparkling Wine Cocktail will surely be a hit in your house.
