Baked Raisin Banana Oatmeal Bites
Need more healthy recipes for the lunchbox? These little balls of goodness will surely be a hit at school. They’re sweet, nutritious, and have no added sugar or oil.
I shaped them into bites but you can certainly bake them into bars or squares. The only difference will be the baking times.
My girls love eating these on the way to school in the morning. I give them about 3-4 and they always as for more. Sometimes I add raisins, other times I add cranberries, chopped nuts, sugar-free chocolate chips, or dried apricots. Just use what you have in your pantry.
To start, just mash some bananas in a bowl
Then add the oatmeal, raisins, and vanilla
Mix it all up and scoop into small bites
And bake for around 10 minutes.
See? Super easy!
I snack on these while working on the blog all the time. These little bites are so addicting! The combination of banana and oatmeal is so delicious and fulfilling. After having a few, you’ll have great energy that will last all morning.
A couple of years ago, I made them in cookie version to have with tea and they were delicious as well. My girls prefer the round shape and the hint of vanilla. You can also add some cinnamon to give it a slightly different taste.
I am thinking of adding some pumpkin spice during the fall. It’ll make it more festive.
