A delicious smoothie bowl filled with acai, fruit, and nuts. A healthy breakfast that’s ready and seconds and will satisfy you all day. If you’ve never had a smoothie bowl before, you are going to love it! Plus it’s much more fun to eat it than drinking a regular smoothie.
A smoothie bowl has a thicker base and tons of toppings to choose from. You eat it with a spoon and it’s sorta like eating a delicious and healthy ice cream for breakfast. Who would object to that? My kids love it and they have no idea it’s good for them.
This Acai Bowl is dairy-free, gluten-free, and naturally vegan so virtually anybody can enjoy it. Oh, did I mention that it takes seconds to make? Just toss everything in the blender or food processor and add your desired toppings. I chose to use goji berries, almonds, blueberries, and strawberries.
I discovered smoothie bowls a few months ago when they opened a raw/vegan shop 2 blocks from my home. I tried one with coconut and instantly got hooked.
It was an indulgence out of this world. I decided to make my own Acai Bowl using Acai Powder (sold at Whole Foods and Amazon). The Acai gives it that beautiful purple color, superfood power, and a delicious exotic flavor.
This Acai Bowl is easily customizable to suit your needs and tastes. Make it tropical add some chopped mango, kiwi, and coconut flakes, or keep it in the Summer theme with lots of berries and bananas. You can also add cocoa nibs, granola, nuts, spices, etc.
My mind is already racing with other kinds of great combinations to make for my future smoothie bowl recipe. Maybe it’s a good idea to add some greens like Kale and Spinach.

Acai Bowl With Fruit And Nuts
Ingredients
For Smoothie Bowl
- 3/4 Cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
- 1 Tablespoon Acai Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Honey or Agave Syrup
- 1 Frozen Banana chopped
Toppings
- Goji Berries
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Toasted Almonds
Instructions
- Place frozen banana, almond milk, acai powder and honey into a blender
- Blend on high speed until all ingredients are mixed in
- Pour the mixture into a bowl
- Top with fruit and nuts
- Enjoy!
