Gingerbread Holiday Fudge
There’s nothing I love more than sipping hot coffee and eating fudge right from the tin. It’s a guilty pleasure that I look forward to all year long. This time I decided to give my treat a nice makeover and shaped them into gifts. Don’t they look cute?
My Gingerbread Holiday Fudge is soft, chewy and decadent with the spicy flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and ginger. Wouldn’t you rather take a bite out of this than eating a man-shaped cookie? Feels less cannibalistic to me.
These guys are super easy to make and definitely a job to do with kids. Let them assemble their own, add their sprinkles, etc.
I could easily spend all afternoon with my girls listening to holiday music and making this fudge. We’ll be giving them out to their teachers and soccer coaches. A homemade gift is much more thoughtful and personal. They can even add their favorite colors or sprinkles.
Honestly, when I pictured the idea in my head I had no idea how to conceive it. I tried many items to resemble the strings of the gift including that famous red long candy leftover from Halloween. Nothing worked until I found red cookie icing that comes in a bag.
For the bow part, you can either make it out of icing, fondant or heart shaped sprinkles. Since I am not very crafty (due to being lefty), I found bow shaped icing decorations in my local craft store. All I had to do is stick it on top of my icing and voila!
The inspiration behind this yummy Gingerbread Holiday Fudge came to me while I was sipping the new New England Coffee Gingerbread Cookie Winter Seasonal Flavor.
It has amazing taste, delicious aroma, and it’s just so soothing. A sip of this coffee and instantly I’m in a good mood.
I hope you can try this delicious Gingerbread Holiday Fudge at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.
Gingerbread Holiday Fudge
Ingredients
For Gingerbread Fudge

- 14 oz can of condensed milk
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sprinkles (optional)
Assembly
- 12 oz white chocolate bark or candy melts
- Red cookie icing (optional)
- Sprinkles, icing bows, etc
Instructions
For Gingerbread Fudge
- Line an 8x8" square pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray
- In a saucepan over low heat, place the white chocolate chips, butter, and condensed milk.
- Stir constantly over low heat until the mixture melts completely.
- When the mixture is melted, add the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla, salt, and sprinkles. Stir until combined
- Pour the entire mixture in the prepared pan and leave it at room temperature to set. About 1-2 hours
- When the fudge is solid, cut into 1 1/2" squares (you can cut them smaller or larger if you'd like)
- If your fudge is too soft, simple place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes
To dip and decorate
- Place the chocolate bark or candy melts in a pan over low heat and melt. If the mixture is too thick, thin it out with 1 or 2 teaspoons of oil. Do not let the mixture burn or overheat
- One by one using a fork, dip each fudge into the melted candy and tap out the excess by tapping the fork over the bowl.
- Place the dipped candy on parchment paper to harden
- When the fudge has hardened, decorate with cookie icing, sprinkles, etc
- They keep in an airtight container at room temperature
- Enjoy with New England Coffee!

My husband and I will be visiting my sister and brother-in-law for Thanksgiving. I moved from West Virginia to be near her in Indiana. She’s excited about making the Thanksgiving dinner. I went grocery shopping for the food with her just last night, in fact.
For Christmas my husband and I will be driving down to southern Indiana to visit my mother.
(I’m from southern Indiana but in 2011 I moved to West Virginia for four years. Now I live in central Indiana where my sister lives.)
Thanks for the opportunity!

This year is going to be very, very different for me. I am recently divorced and my daughter will be with her dad this Christmas (since it’s an even year, he gets Christmas according to our custody rules). I have never NOT been with her so we are trying to make the best of the changes. Since I won’t be with her on Christmas Day, I plan on volunteering in a homeless shelter to help cook meals for Christmas.

Well, we will celebrate the way we usually do. My niece & nephews are out of school, so they will be here most days during their school break (while their Mom & Dad are at work)—so I spend a lot of time trying to keep them from finding hidden presents, lol. On Christmas Eve, we usually let them open one thing. On Christmas Day, they will come over here & open other gifts.
