Pebbles Cereal Fudgy Brigadeiros

Let’s take a trip down south….

To the land of samba, carnival, and the best soccer players. Brazil, where these delicious Fudgy Brigadeiros where created.

If you’ve never tried it and wonder what it is, just imagine a soft and delicious chocolate ball that has a deep cacao flavor and the texture of fudge.

Did I mention how EASY these are to make?

No oven needed and just 4 ingredients.

You make the dough and the kids roll the fudge into balls and sprinkle them with yummy Pebbles cereal.

I used both Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles on the outside. That will appease chocolate and fruit lovers alike.

Of course, you can just use either one. However, there are Cocoa Pebbles on the inside to give it just the right amount of chocolaty taste.

These Fudgy Brigadeiros make the perfect dessert for a kid’s birthday party since they are nut-free and gluten-free, in case there’s any allergy among the children.

I love placing them in little paper cups and inside a bonbon box to give them out as housewarming or thank you gifts.

They are also freezable, so you can make an extra batch and keep them in the freezer in case unexpected company arrives.

Ingredients

For Brigadeiros

  • 14 oz can Condensed Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa Pebbles ground

For Coating

  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Pebbles lightly crushed
  • 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles lightly crushed

Instructions

  • In a heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat add the condensed milk, butter, Cocoa Pebbles, and cocoa powder. Stir with a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are mixed together
  • When mixture begins to a boil, lower the heat and stir for 4-5 minutes more or until it becomes thick and creamy being careful not to burn the bottom
  • Remove from heat and add the mixture into a bowl previously greased with cooking spray or butter. Let the mixture cool in the fridge for at least one hour
  • When the mixture is cool, roll into balls, about the size of a teaspoon and place on a sheet with parchment paper
  • Pour Cocoa Pebbles in one bowl and the Fruity Pebbles in another bowl
  • Dip each ball into the either cereal and move it around until all the fudge ball is completely coated
  • Balls can be served at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers
  • Enjoy!
