Pumpkin Hummus Pizza With Veggies – delicious and addicting appetizer to make for game day! Yummy crispy pizza with pumpkin hummus goat cheese and veggies.
Pumpkin Hummus Pizza With Veggies
Football season has started and I am sure you’re tired of serving chips and salsa. If you’re entertaining more sophisticated palates serve this delicious Pumpkin Hummus Pizza With Veggies.
Crispy crust, creamy spread, crunchy veggies and goat cheese. I am in heaven! Personally, I would watch the game just to eat this pizza.
Believe it or not, this dish is simple enough for a weeknight dinner and sophisticated enough as an appetizer for entertaining. Make it a big size or mini pizzas.
You can also change the veggies and use your favorite ones. My daughter loves red and yellow cherry tomatoes so I added them in instead of using tomato sauce.
I am addicted to hummus.. it is so delicious, creamy and tasty. Plus, it’s super easy to make and can take on tons of flavors like pumpkin, pureed veggies, etc.
I tried it once on top of a pizza and was surprised with how delicious it was, so I decided to make it with pumpkin hummus.
A couple of years ago, I had a Friday night tradition with my girls. We would buy pizza dough and would make our own pizzas at home. We would cut up veggies and shred some cheese.
They would roll the dough and top their pizzas with their desired toppings. I don’t know why we stopped but I am thinking of bringing it back.
This Pumpkin Hummus Pizza is geared more towards adults but by replacing the hummus with the tomato sauce I am sure they will love it.
The secret to getting the pizza super crunchy is to pre-bake it for 5 minutes before adding the sauce and toppings. I only bake the veggies for a few minutes just to heat them up without losing their texture.
I hope you can try this delicious Pumpkin Hummus Pizza With Veggies at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.
