Delicious Copycat Taco Bell Crunchwrap
For those of who that have been to Taco Bell, I ask. Have you tried their crunchwrap?
It’s one of my favorite things ever! Since every flavor is separated by layers of crunchy and soft textures. It makes every bite interesting.
The great thing about this Delicious Copycat Taco Bell Crunchwrap is that you can make it at home with not much effort and you can customize it just the way you like it.
Add some guacamole, lime, cilantro, and black beans, replace the beef with chicken, and add some more veggies on top.
The possibilities are endless. Sometimes I use tortillas made out of coconut to add another dimension of flavor and texture.
The process of layering is fairly simple. I used a circle cookie cutter to cut the inside tortilla. If you don’t have cookie cutters, use the rim of a glass or jar.
Here’s a picture that pretty much shows the process:
My favorite part is when the outer tortilla gets all toasted up and becomes portable. Just the smell gets my whole family in the kitchen.
My husband requested that next time we add some Jalapenos and spicy salsa to make these Copycat Taco Bell Crunchwrap on the spicy side.
I made these mild to suit my kids’ tastes.

Copycat Taco Bell Crunchwrap
Equipment
- Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Ground Beef lean
- 1 Package Taco Seasoning
- 7 Burrito Style Tortillas
- 6 Tostadas
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 cup Lettuce shredded
- 1 cup Mexican Cheese shredded
- Sour Cream to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the beef until brown. Add in taco seasoning and mix well to combine. Set aside
- Place about ½ cup of beef onto a tortilla, top with about 2 tbsp of shredded cheese
- Top with a tostada shell and add sour cream
- Add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce
- At this point, you can take a large cookie cutter or just cut a circle out of an extra tortilla to place on top so nothing falls out. This is an optional step, but I find it helps hold the wrap together better
- Take the bottom tortilla and fold it around the filling
- Warm up a griddle or skillet and place the wrap with the folds facing down. Leave on the skillet until golden brown. This will help the tortilla keep its shape and melt the cheese
- Enjoy!
