You must think I am crazy making these sort of dishes while it’s 100 degrees out here in Miami. Personally, I love and crave comfort food all year round. The beef is super flavorful and goes great when served with creamy polenta made with Parmesan cheese. Forget about ground beef, shredded slow cooked beef has much more deep flavor and texture. Best of all, this beef ragu can be frozen for future meals.

Making Polenta is really easy and only requires 4 ingredients and is ready in minutes. If you’re hosting lots of family events during the Holidays, this Crock Pot Braised Beef Ragu is perfect since you can set it on the slow cooker in the morning, go to work and then have it ready for everybody in the evening.
