This Orange Sriracha Chicken is made in 20 minutes or less with few ingredients. Easy enough for a quick weeknight dinner idea and fancy enough for company.
Orange Sriracha Chicken Recipe
I usually make food with little sauce or sauces on the lighter sauce because my husband, being the health nut that he is, complains. Today I went bold and created this delicious Orange Sriracha Chicken Recipe behind his back. It has lots of flavor inside the creamy sauce and it’s made in 20 minutes or less, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner.
I made this dish with chicken because that’s what I currently had at home but you can certainly make it with shrimp, pork, or beef. As you can see, the star of this dish is the awesome creamy sauce. It’s not hot or super spicy but it holds strong flavors with the use of orange, vinegar, and Sriracha.
Some people love frying their chicken or shrimp before adding the sauce but I am fine with sautéing it instead. The flavor is not a whole different, it has fewer calories and also less dirty dishes to clean up.
You can serve this Orange Sriracha Chicken Recipe with rice, noodles, or greens. You can also add some steamed broccoli, cauliflower, or yummy crunchy veggies to serve along.
To be honest, although this dish tastes amazing, it’s not very kid-friendly, my daughters are not fans of this kind of spice. If your kids are a tad more open-minded than mine, then have them try it out.
You can also make this Orange Sriracha Chicken Recipe if you’re entertaining guests and family. It’s easy to make and elegant enough for the company. It’s something different and exotic.
Now that my dinner is ready I will use my free time to check out my local thrift stores for cute Asian-themed items. I love making different kinds of cuisines and would love to serve them with whimsical and different dishes.
I hope you can prepare this Orange Sriracha Chicken Recipe at home. If you do, please come back and let me know how it came out.
