Super Easy Candied Pecans Recipe

I am a sucker for candied nuts. They hold a special place in my heart because they are the kind of treat that I can keep on eating and never get tired of. This time I made them with a little twist.

These Candied Pecans Recipe are gluten-free and dairy-free so a lot of people can enjoy them!

Now that the fall is coming and Football season is starting, I am looking for original snacks that will get your taste buds going. The secret ingredient in this recipe is Chipotle Chili Pepper seasoning.

It won’t make them spicy (unless you add a lot) but it will give them an extra layer of flavor that makes them POP. A hint of smoky robust taste.

Making them is way easier than you think. I used the expert help of my 4-year old who took the tough job of mixing and stirring. Since my other daughter started school I sent her some pecans today in her lunchbox. I bet she’s going to be thrilled when she sees them.

I will post the full recipe with exact measurements on the bottom. Start with 3 bowls:

– One for pecans

– One for egg white and water

– One for brown sugar and seasonings

Whisk egg white with a fork until frothy. Incorporate the pecans and mix well. Then add the brown sugar mixture to the pecans and using a spoon, stir until all the pecans are coated.

Place on a cookie sheet coated with a silicone pad or parchment paper and bake for one hour. EASY and fun to make with kids since no knives are involved in the process. If you don’t have pecans at home you can also make them with Walnuts, they will be delicious too.

The downside of this recipe: is they are addictive! You can’t eat just one… I try to put them away but then I go back for some more.
