Glazed Orange Bundt Cake Recipe: delicious orange-soaked bundt cake topped with a sweet orange glaze. The perfect dessert or breakfast for any occasion.
Glazed Orange Bundt Cake
This moist Glazed Orange bundt cake is made with orange zest, then soaked with a sweet orange syrup, and finally glazed with a delicious orange concoction. Sounds delicious doesn’t it?
I encourage you to make it because it’s super easy and perfect as a dessert or even breakfast. I look forward every morning to a slice of orange heaven.
My mom used to make this bundt cake a few years back and I got a craving for it last week. Thankfully the recipe was still in my old hotmail. I made it and it was as delicious as I remember it.
I love the sweet tangy flavor and the moistness with every bite. Here in Florida, summer is the best season to get big juicy oranges and the perfect time to make this sinful Glazed Orange Bundt Cake.
This cake is so moist because as soon as I remove it from the oven, I add a tangy orange syrup all over and let it slowly soak up all the liquid as the cake cools.
This method makes a huge difference in flavor and texture. And to top it all off I make a yummy glaze and decorate it with more orange zest. What more can you ask for?
If you see the inside of the cake, you will be able to see little orange specs. Those are pieces of orange zest and they are mostly responsible for the flavoring.
Believe it or not, zest has much more power and flavor than the juice itself so don’t be stingy with the zest.

I would like to try this recipe as well but not sure of how much butter. Did you mean 2 cups of butter or 2 one half cup sticks of butter?

It would be nice to know this recipe is for a small Bundt Cake pan not a regular sized one. I decided to try and cook it anyway in a regular sized pan but it just burnt the outside and raw in the middle. It was way to sweet! Tasted like you were eating a spoon of sugar. I couldn’t imagine adding the syrup to it also. Very disappointed.

A regular bundt cake works great for this recipe. Sorry it did not work out for you

I agree w other post….this traditional sized bundt pan is too large for your recipe& a total disappointment….and does not work as you suggested…I zested 4 oranges and was so looking forward to a very nice bundt take…please tell your viewers not to use a large bundt pan…which is traditional…

Hi Ava! The bundt pan I used is the one showed on the picture which is 8-9″ in diameter.
