Chicken Alfredo Baked Pasta
Don’t you just love comfort food that’s ready in 30 minutes or less? Me too! That’s why I love cooking this Chicken Alfredo Baked Pasta. It’s delicious, creamy, cheesy with a wonderful texture. Perfect for kids and adults alike. The homemade Alfredo sauce is lower in calories since it doesn’t have any cream and it’s really easy to make.

The secret behind this dish is using a good quality freshly grated Parmesan cheese and pepper. It makes a huge difference in flavor and texture. And don’t worry! It takes less than 3 minutes to grate it. My kids don’t notice the pepper inside but it really makes the other flavors pop.
With busy schedules, sometimes I need to make something quick that not only my husband will love, but my kids as well. Creamy chicken with pasta is something that nobody can say no to.
Plus I can do the prep ahead of time so if I return home at 6:30 from soccer practice, I can just pop in my casserole in the oven and have it cooked while my girls are showering or doing homework.
I hope you can try this delicious Chicken Alfredo Baked Pasta at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.

This looks wonderful and the sauce tastes great. I have made this in advance and wonder how long it should cook when we actually eat it. I am taking one to two different families and want to make sure I give them good directions. Thank you!
Tiffany says
Hi Sue! I would cook it before serving because the noodles might taste gummy otherwise.
Sue says
I was wondering how long you would cook
it and at what temperature, when it has been
prepared a day in advance and refrigerated.
Thank you
Tiffany says
Hi Sue, You just prepare everything up to the point where it would go in the oven, then cover and refrigerate. Then remove from the fridge 30 min before baking and bake as usual.

this sounds delicious!!!!
i really love all your recipes. i’d just like to know how many calories there are in one serving?
Tiffany says
Thank you, Mary! Each serving has about 600 calories. To cut the calories use less pasta.

The instructions say “1/2 cooked chicken”… 1/2 what? Also, you don’t say anything in the instructions about baking in the oven aside from melting the cheese on broil. What if you refrigerate this and heat later to eat? Then how long do you bake it and on what temp to not dry it out?
Tiffany says
Hi Bethany. I am sorry, I meant 1/2 cup of cooked chicken. The cheese melts under the broiler. To make ahead, simply follow the instructions until step 12 and then bake at 350 for 20-30 or until cheese is bubbling and broil for 2-3 minutes to brown on top
