Chocolate Glazed Baked Donuts
OMG… I have died and went to heaven. These soft-baked vanilla donuts are doused with shiny chocolate glaze and then adorned with colorful sprinkles. Why? Well isn’t it today National Doughnut Day?
I am bringing the balloons and streamers because this Holiday can not be passed up (at least in my house).
Takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish and there’s no yeast involved so the preparation is done in no time! I didn’t even use a mixer.
So what are you waiting for? get 2 bowls, a donut pan, colorful sprinkles, and your appetite because after you make this, you’ll be the most popular mom from the block!
These Chocolate Glazed Baked Donuts are going to become the most popular dessert in the school’s bake sale.
I love the fact that these are softly baked instead of fried and greasy. Not only does it make a difference texture-wise, the flavor is spot on. You won’t get the oily aftertaste at all.
Ugh! Don’t you hate how your house smells after frying? Candles and sprays fail to mask that odor.
Kids are on summer vacation and bored, time to cheer them up with a delicious batch of Chocolate Glazed Baked Donuts. I based the glaze on my Homemade Twix bars. It sets up in no time and turns out shiny and tasty.
I am so happy I was able to have 30 minutes in my day to make these chocolate-glazed baked Donuts. It’s been a pretty hectic week with a 22-hour trip to Boston (exhausting!) and my daughter’s PRE-K Graduation.
The ceremony was so beautiful, I’ll have to admit, I got teary-eyed watching her in a cap and gown.
