Lemon Glazed Fruity Pebbles Eggs
Aren’t these eggs cute?
Place a few on their baskets or hide them inside those plastic eggs and they’ll be more popular than candy or chocolate.
Fruity Pebbles Eggs are colorful, sweet, and crunchy and the glaze just gives it a tangy taste that makes this recipe pop.
For me, Easter is a fairly new holiday since in Venezuela it was celebrated on Good Thursday and Friday. No bunnies, eggs, or chicks present.
It was also less centered around children and more religious.
When I moved to the States I kept wondering about the Easter Bunny and where did he come from.
I embraced this holiday as a great excuse to celebrate, eat good food, and get together with friends and family.
Seeing children dressed in pastel clothing searching for eggs is a beautiful thing. And now with these delicious Fruity Pebbles Eggs, my kids will want them all.
Making them is fairly easy, I used the same process as you would for the squares but instead of placing the mixture on a baking dish, I stuffed them inside a greased plastic egg to create the perfect oval shape.
For this process, use latex gloves to avoid getting sticky fingers.
As soon as they set up I simply spooned glaze all over them and let the glaze dry.
It’s a simple recipe that yields amazing results.
