Coca-Cola Rice Recipe

I know what you’re thinking. Coca-Cola with rice, is this lady crazy? Trust me, this Coca-Cola Rice Recipe tastes amazing. The soda gives it a subtly sweet taste that works. You couldn’t even tell what the main ingredient is.

If you’re looking for a delicious side dish to compliment any dinner or meal, then this is it. There’s tons of flavor and texture with every bite. As you can see in the picture, I added some egg noodles to the mix. Once you take a spoonful of this one, you’ll be sorry you didn’t make an extra batch. IT’S THAT GOOD.

Latins and Asians have one big love in common: Rice. In South America, white rice is served every day with every meal. I grew up eating as a side dish.

As you can imagine, there are 10000 recipes for Latin rice, but this one is my favorite because of the different textures and the play on the sweet and salty on your palate.

This Coca-Cola Rice Recipe is super easy to make! I combined 2 of my favorite rice dishes into one: toasted rice with noodles and soda, rice, with raisins.

The green onions on top not only bring a freshness but also balance all the flavors out.

You can make this Coca-Cola Rice Recipe in advance and just heat it right before the party or get-together. Your family and friends will love it, and telling them that the rice has coke makes a great conversational piece.

I am so glad that I can make food for the girls that I grew up with. It makes me happy when they try Venezuelan flavors and seasonings (sazon!).

I hope you can make this delicious Coca-Cola Rice Recipe at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.
