Broiled Salmon With Tahini Sauce
Are you running out of ideas for quick weeknight meals? This easy broiled salmon wit tahini sauce is ready in less than 30 minutes and it’s so easy. I like to serve my tahini sauce on the side to use it with my green beans and couscous as well.
I first roast the salmon with the green beans and then I broil it. Both the beans and fish are coated with the same marinate and go in the oven at the same time. Perfect for a one pan meal.
I love serving this Broiled Salmon with Israeli couscous (my daughters favorite), but you can certainly omit it or substitute it for rice, pasta or regular couscous.
A couple of weeks ago I made a Green Pea Hummus crostini and had some tahini leftover. My mom was raving about a fish dish she makes with this ingredient. Since I had some salmon, I decided to make it and serve it on the side.
Just drizzle some parsley and crunchy toasted pine nuts over it and voila! Simple enough for a weeknight meal, but elegant enough for entertaining guests. Serve it on a big platter and I guarantee that it’s going to be a hit.
If you’re not a fan of green beans you can also use asparagus, peas, baby carrots, Brussel sprouts, etc. or simply omit them. You can also substitute the fish, just make sure you are using a meaty fish such as sea bass, halibut and not little filets like tilapia.
