Deliciously Easy 15 Minute Shrimp Lo Mein & signature Chicken Dumplings
Just because we’re in a hurry to get dinner on the table, doesn’t mean that we can’t be adventurous with our culinary creations. This shrimp Lo Mein is so easy, delicious, and quick, that it’ll definitely become part of your weekly meal rotation.
We paired it with P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Signature Chicken Dumplings to help stir things up mid-week. Although we chose to create our own Shrimp Lo Mein, it’s important to note that P.F. Chang’s Home Menu also offers Shrimp Lo Mein – found in the freezer aisle.
My kids love this dish because they eat part of it with chopsticks and the other one with a fork. That keeps them distracted while I sneak in colorful veggies mixed in with the noodles. A win-win for parents.
If you’re not a fan of shrimp, you can substitute with beef, chicken, scallops, or simply, omit them for a vegetarian meal. Either way, this Lo Mein is easily customizable to suit your tastes and is also a great way to use up all the veggies in your fridge.
I chose a milder sauce to pair with my Lo Mein so the flavor won’t overpower the shrimp. It’s simple, yet delicious. For a spicy kick, add some red pepper flakes or Sriracha at the end.
My yummy Shrimp Lo Mein is paired with P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Signature Chicken Dumplings – they even come with a tasty Signature Sauce packet. Signature Chicken Dumplings are made with dark meat chicken, shredded cabbage, and sliced scallions.
They’re pan fried and ready in less than 10 minutes. My 7-year-old gobbled them up and barely left two for the rest of us. The flavor and texture are really restaurant quality. Now when I have an Asian food craving, I’ll whip up a box or two.
P.F. Chang’s Home Menu frozen meals and appetizers are co-developed with P.F. Chang’s co-founder Philip Chiang and made with authentic, made-from-scratch sauces and vibrant veggies. Don’t they look amazing? You can have these dumplings and Shrimp Lo Mein in less than 15 minutes. That’s my kind of dinner idea.
