Amazing Asian Style Tuna Tacos
Looking to spice up your party appetizer menu?
These Amazing Asian Style Tuna Tacos will surely be a hit.
Love tuna tartare? Love tacos?
I married these two dishes to create my ultimate party tacos.
Marinated morsels of ahi tuna are paired with an Asian-style slaw, avocado cubes, sesame seeds, and jalapeno slices. The sauce on top is a spicy mayo served on a warm tortilla.
The sauce was the easiest part: mayo and a big helping of TABASCO® Pepper Sauce. I always use it on my dishes because it adds a kick of flavor to my recipes.
Usually, it’s on the table when I serve dinner to my husband.
If you’re hosting a party for the big game, make a huge batch of tacos. By the end of the night (or by the final Touchdown) – they will be all gone.
I love fusion cuisine and trying out restaurants that offer them. Here in Miami, there are plenty of places to choose from and they help me inspire when it comes to creating new recipes in the kitchen.
My favorite fusion is the Asian and Peruvian ones. They complement each other flawlessly. I tried tuna tartare over tostones and wrapped it in a rice paper roll. Never on a taco.
I decided to take a leap and wrap it in a warm tortilla shell served with slaw. I loved it so much that I ran to the kitchen to write down the recipe before I forgot what ingredients I used.
A must ingredient is Avocados. They are always worth it because they’re healthy, delicious, and always in season.
To wash my taquitos down, I serve them with fizzy Lime-A-Rita. Have you tried them?
They are fun and fruity fizzy margarita drinks. I love how refreshing they are. My girlfriend introduced me to them and now you’ll always see them in stock in my fridge.

Nice recipe. I just did Ahi Tacos last night and went in very much the same direction. 2 things I did do differently; I used Oyster Sauce and hoisin mixed together – the slight seafoody flavor in the Oyster Sauce went so well with the tuna. And, my slaw used Baby Bok Choy instead. More Asian, and I LOVE bok choy. 😃
