Hello Dolly Bars: these magic bars are made a graham cracker crust, chocolate chips, walnuts, cereal, coconut and more. Perfect dessert for any holiday or get together!

Hello Dolly Bars

Hello Dolly Bars, also known as magic bars, are an ooey gooey delicious dessert composed of 7 distinct layers of flavors and texture. Yes they are messy, crumbly, chocolaty and they are the type of sweets that people have no idea what they taste like until they take a bite and say “yumm – wow”. It’s amazing how you can differentiate each flavor but at the same time they all come together so perfectly.

The crust is made of a combination of ground Honey Bunches of Oats and Graham Crackers. It’s a very interesting combination since this cereal has so many  tasty components. The walnuts, coconut, chocolate and condensed milk help shape these delicious Hello Dolly Bars.

If you’re a novice baker or never baked in your entire life, then this is the perfect starter recipe for you to make. It’s super easy! Just dump the ingredients one of top of the other. Pour in the condensed milk and in the oven it goes. Don’t believe me? Here’s a quick 14 second video on how I made mine:

It just goes to show you how versatile Honey Bunches Of Oats cereal is. You would’ve never thought of baking with them and to be honest, they are an absolute must with these Hello Dolly Bars.

You can really taste the honey, the flakes and the little clusters of crunchy goodness. The texture they provide along with the walnuts makes this dessert memorable.

I hope you can try these delicious Hello Dolly Bars at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet.
