Cheesy Bacon Pull-Apart Bread Recipe
My Superbowl party is going to bring it with this Cheesy Bacon Pull Apart Bread Recipe. The cheese is oozy, the bacon is smoky and the bread is crunchy. What more can you ask for? Perfect for feeding a crowd since each person can “pull apart” it’s own individual bite.
I bet you’re wondering what cheese I used. It’s creamy delicious Brie, one of my favorite cheeses of all. Combined with Bacon I am in heaven.
To be honest, it was very hard taking pictures of this bread because my husband and I kept eating the pieces. In the end, we pulled apart the entire thing. It was amazing! Every bite had a piece of cheese, bacon, and a hint of garlic.
The preparation is very easy, just buy your sourdough round bread, or any other type of bread with a large surface, and using a bread knife, cut out slits on top. Be very careful not to cut through the bottom.
Each little square will be used as a vessel to carry the most cheesy bacony flavor of all. To maximize the bacon flavor I used the bacon oil to moisten the bread. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is.
If you’re expecting lots of guests, I would do 2 or 3 loaves. Here’s a step-by-step photo of the process:
If you would like, you can make mini loaves for individual guests. You can use any cheese you may like and even additional fillings like parsley, sautéed onions, etc.
