Microwave Nutella Mug Cake Recipe

Sometimes don’t you feel like you need some sort of “me” time? The kids are being jerky, the hubs is cranky and you want to hide inside the bathroom until they all fall asleep? No? Umm me neither.

But when you feel like you need a quick indulgence JUST FOR YOU then this Microwave Nutella Mug Cake Recipe is for you. Made from start to finish in 5 minutes or less.

This cake is sweet, indulgent and so chocolaty. A delicious pat on the back or hug from the inside. I love to make it during the weekends and sometimes make the batter in advance and just microwave off at the last minute.

I love Nutella and I’m a firm believer that they should have their food group. It tastes so nutty and indulgent. Now imagine a spongy cake made out of it. You can add a few more spoonfuls after it comes out of the microwave or some ice cream. Don’t worry, I won’t look.

Drooling? I thought so. Don’t worry the full recipe is below. It’s easy to make, simply mix and microwave. Even my sister can make it and I am not so sure she knows where the microwave is at her house. So get your apron on and let’s make some cake.

I hope you can give this delicious Microwave Nutella Mug Cake Recipe a try. If you do, please come back and let me know how it comes out. The most important advice I can give is to not overcook it.

Do we have to use self-rising flour? Will it work with regular flour.

Yes doctor but you need to add a bit of baking powder (about 1/2 teaspoon) with the all purpose flour
