Strawberries And Cream Overnight Oats

Delicious and creamy oats blended with fresh strawberry and honey for a touch of freshness and sweetness. These Strawberries And Cream Overnight Oats are the perfect quick breakfast idea that will get you going throughout the day.

Ever since I discovered overnight oats, I have been in love. My husband made me go to Target and buy 5 more glass jars so they could be in the fridge every time he came home. Now in my house, overnight oats are part of our daily routine.

I make it once or twice a week and my kitchen looks like an assembly line: glass jars, oats everywhere, almond milk, etc. To be completely honest, I don’t even measure the ratio of oats to liquid since I know it by heart.

My husband doesn’t eat these Strawberries And Cream Overnight Oats only at breakfast. Since he trains for triathlons, he needs to eat small meals throughout the day, so he eats them when he comes home from work, as a snack, etc.

I, on the other hand, love to have it for breakfast. It’s fresh and delicious and when I add some fruit and nuts on top, I feel like I am indulging when I am not.

Sometimes I heat it in the microwave for a few seconds before digging in. The fact that there’s no cooking involved makes them even more convenient.

Right now my mornings are hectic. I have 2 girls going to different schools with different schedules so it’s hard to find enough time to cook for myself (in the morning), that’s why these Strawberries And Cream Overnight Oats have been a savior.

And you know the drill, toss everything in the jar and give it a shake. You may sing TS’s “Shake it off” song while you’re at it, I don’t know why but they turn out tastier that way! (J/K 😉 )

I hope you can make these delicious Strawberries And Cream Overnight Oats at home. If you do, please upload a photo on Instagram using the #LivingSweet hashtag and/or tagging @Livingsweetmoments. I will repost it!

This looks great! Would I be able to add heavy cream for the liquid in place of Almond Milk?

Thank you Kara! I wouldn’t use heavy cream since it’s too rich for this recipe. You can certainly substitute it for regular milk/whole milk

How do you eat (asside from the obvious lol) overnight oats? Do you eat it cold or do you scoop it into a bowl and warm it?
