Turkey Brie Quesadillas With Pears
Some nights I crave exotic flavors without having to spend all day cooking. These Turkey Brie Quesadillas With Pears are the perfect quick weeknight dinner recipe because it has a delicious taste with a hint of sweetness from the pears. The trick is to slice everything thinly so the filling cooks up faster.
I add watercress inside the tortilla to add a peppery note and some nice fresh color. You can slice your tortilla in any way or size you may like to. They make the perfect last minute party appetizers as well. Serve them with a touch of honey for your guest to dip if they wish.
These quesadillas are a fusion between french and Mexican cuisine. I love to take the same ingredients and place them inside a baguette as well. Perfect for picnics and family outings.
Last week when I made these Turkey Brie Quesadillas With Pears, my husband went crazy for them. He kept sticking his hand inside the parchment paper during the photo shoot. He couldn’t wait until I finished taking pictures! At the end, he only left me one piece, but since these are so easy to make, I just cooked up some more.
For the turkey part, I used Oscar Mayer Selects Natural because it’s made with no artificial ingredients, and is minimally processed. They also contain no artificial preservatives (the back side of each package lists the ingredients used to preserve quality), no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no gluten and no by-products.
It also has a great taste and is cut into thin slices that make stuffing these Turkey Brie Quesadillas With Pears easier and quicker.
