Garlic Butter Skillet Chicken

Now that school is finally back in session, I am always looking for easy dinner ideas to all the family will love.

This easy and quick chicken recipe requires only one skillet and few ingredients that most of us have in our pantries. All you need to do beforehand is to defrost the chicken breasts.

Serve with rice, veggies, or mashed potatoes and this garlic butter skillet chicken will definitely be a hit. If you don’t have any of those on hand, a side salad will suffice.

Ever since we started limiting the amount of meat we eat every week, I’ve been focused on using as many chicken parts as possible. One day breasts, other day drumsticks, and so on. If one doesn’t get creative it gets tiring after a while.

I cannot believe this year my oldest is starting 8th grade and my youngest 6th. Where has the time gone? Both in middle school and next year high school! When Living Sweet Moments was born, they were both in pre-school.

Doesn’t this look amazing? The herbs on top, the garlic, the butter…. oh man, your house will smell amazing. Trust me!

I hope you can try this delicious Garlic Butter Skillet Chicken at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet.

This recipe makes plenty of this liquid gold garlic butter sauce. It is delicious poured on the chicken after plating, but also poured onto an accompanying side of mashed potatoes.
